Bloody Health
The Bloody Health plays on the expression “bloody hell” to express frustration regarding high blood pressure, a condition that can’t be avoided. It builds on the previous project’s main idea while also introducing a different and fresh narrative.
The project uses reverse actions to depict what it’s like to live with high blood pressure and feel dissatisfied with how society promotes health awareness. It explores how food affects the body, questioning whether eating high-fat and high-salt foods truly brings happiness or if taking daily medication is better. It also addresses the dilemma of choosing between health and personal desires, a choice that everyone makes every day.
By intentionally showing behaviours that lead to high blood pressure and their consequences, I hope to make the audience think about their own views on hypertension and cardiovascular diseases.
