Lilly Lea

(she)

I seek to give expression to an experience of interbeing with the natural world. Working with foraged materials through slow and embodied processes, my work gives voice to an ongoing dialogue with the earth. Pieces reconcile as a collection of traces, seeking alternative ways of being outside the noise of a broken culture. Through nurturing connection to place, I explore materiality as a source of connection; guiding and drawing us back home.

Above the tallest tree

beneath the land and sea

there are infinate ways, life breathes light

through colour

These works map and trace an ongoing dialogue with different natural environments through materials gathered, processed then worked with, in intimacy and connection to place.
