Class and Identity are major themes in Niki Fitzpatricks work.

Through a variety of multi-disciplinary techniques, themes of; language, day to day living and life as a Queer person in the heart of Glasgow is something we can see resurface through the archive of Nikis work.

The ability to laugh and take life less seriously than it should be is extremely important to their work and can be seen to be executed by implementing and playing with Glaswegian phrases, imagery and social documentation.

Their work until now has a heavy undertone of 90’s and early 2000’s influence in relation to Music, fashion, gang culture and pop culture. Niki is heavily interested in Videography and sculpture and uses their work as a way to combine their love of these mediums with their chosen themes.
