I am a graphic designer with an enthusiasm for branding and visual identity design. In my opinion, creative thinking is more essential to designers than making visual effects; design is not just “doing”, but also “thinking”. Most of the time, my ideas are based on combining antithesis or contradiction to make it more dramatic and combining personalised aesthetics to make the work more intuitively appealing. I wouldn’t follow a fixed aesthetic style because the style should change according to the diversity of the brand. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to think differently and observe from a new perspective.

Following the Fukushima nuclear disaster contaminated radioactive water was released, the NewClear Water Co. project satirises the frivolous attitude of some Japanese officials toward the Fukushima nuclear wastewater release plan.
I imagined a brand which immorally combines harmful nuclear wastewater with healthy drinking water. I explore the possibility of packaging design through the application of materials. At the same time, I used the selling and advertising tactics of many brands to make the project ironic. While the topic is ultimately very serious, I hope this critical approach makes people laugh right before they think about it.

Visual Cues

Do you have the habit of using visual cues during writing, marking up, and note-taking? this dictionary organises some general visual cues as symbols to use without forgetting the meaning from the moment we wrote them to when we are reviewing them.

This dictionary is designed from the perspective of my marking & tagging habits. It might be reasonable or it might not. If you are confusing symbols that do not convince you at all, feel free to add your understanding below each one, or even create your new symbol to make this become your glossary. After that, you can share your noting method with another confused guy – like what I am doing right now.
