Statement

Working in conjunction with materials, their textures & mood, my practice entails inspecting, dissecting, and attempting to voice the lingering [psychological and physical] remains of untended trauma in day-to-day life. While I also work with films, images, and several other mediums, my primary mode of communication is clay. My sculptures are primitive and archaic in nature, and with visible hints of anatomy, they contain cracks, cavities, and openings, along with fragments of my agitation and void, all the while also holding space – space for individual interpretation and analysis.
