I am a multi-media based artist in which primarily focuses upon painting, drawing and sculptor.
My work is heavily influenced by ‘outsider’ and ‘folk’ art.

Themes such as religion, anthropology, the subconscious, rituals, shamanism and spirituality are explored throughout my artistic practice.

Engaging with materials such as oil paint, pastels, ink, plaster and clay I intent to create work in a way that is intuitive and free-flowing.

Depicting figures resembling animals and human forms I explore the psyche in a way which is indented to create a positive release of energy.

Inspired by the practices of art psychotherapy my work is intended to have a very raw and human feel. I explore creating atmospheres and emotion within my work and ultimately the idea of what it is to be human and sentient.
