Motherhood Under the Collective Consciousness
Motherhood penalty exists in our life, but it is often ignored. In this project, I explored the status of motherhood, unfairness and discrimination. I took some photos about housework and childcare, and my work combines graphic design with photography, dissolves them, expands them and endows them with a new context.
This Zine is divided into three parts, which states the plight of mothers, the possibilities of mothers, and how to change the situation. It is hoped that this work will arouse people’s sensitivity to the plight of women in order to support mothers and women who will become mothers. I hope that in the future, balancing work and family is not an issue that only women have to face.
