‘Refuge Housing for LGBTQ+ Youth’ – Housing
Housing Project
This project sought to combine the graphic identity of urban space with queer narratives; informing spatiality.
Answering a disappearing amount of queer focused spaces in Glasgow and seeking to see the role of support integrated into both urban housing and queerness; the refuge was designed to naturally sit as part of pre-existing queer spaces in the city.
Building a strong visual and spatial connection from research and documenting of both a historic and contemporary readings of the area built the identity of the housing with authenticity.
