I believe that the great rebellion of human individuals is the best way to drive the evolution of the group. I often find inspiration when I’m cooking, and in recent years I’ve studied fat, feminism, all kinds of expressions that give people healing.Nature can bring a lot of power to people, and the questions that we can’t figure out in human society have answers in nature, so I think the first thing that humans need to think about is their relationship with nature.

I think art is a path that you walk alone, you don’t need to explain it to others, you just need to express yourself. As Susan Sontag’s “Against Interpretation”, art is an action, a verb, for anyone, not a noun, a result.

Moss

Nature can bring a lot of power to people, and the questions that we can’t figure out in human society have answers in nature, so I think the first thing that humans need to think about is their relationship with nature. For much of my time in the UK, the natural landscape and creatures here have fascinated me. The inspiration for my work moss is a common local plant.

Moss is home to a vast ecosystem that shelters many tiny creatures and makes everyone equal. More like a blanket or a net, its decentralized form allows it to extend indefinitely and survive anywhere. Other plants need irrigation, and it can store water for irrigation. This connection seems weak but full of power.

Secondly, one also needs to understand the relationship between animals and humans, for example having a pet is the best way to do this. I am a dog lover and as an INFP I prefer to spend time with animals rather than people, they can provide the support encouragement and companionship of a friend without the suspicion and lies, animals are more purely human, I guess. And the separation of animals from humans can teach people how to learn to say goodbye to the things they love. We need to learn well, but not just to learn, but to contribute, to take on the responsibility that humans are supposedly strong enough to take on, to protect nature and animals and plants, to protect the earth, to improve the environment.
