Product Design Engineering brings together two cultures – the studio and creative environment of the GSA, ranked #8 in the world for art & design, and the James Watt School of Engineering at the University of Glasgow, a world top 100 university. The programme’s Degree Show features exciting and innovative products made by students in response to the 21st century’s most prescient design challenges. Contextual studies underpin all the works below, including entrepreneurial, technology, human factors, ethical and societal considerations. This year’s cohort’s final projects embrace the innovation and creativity that the programme champions, creating projects which centre user experience and ethical and sustainable design principles.
