(She/her)

In my practice I attempt to draw a hybrid world where folklore, nature, and the unseen infrastructures of life intertwine. I am interested in the tension that exists within the natural world, between foulness and flora, parasitic entities and the sort of nature that is historically admired and idealised. I am fascinated by the complexity of nature, but also its cartoonish simplicity, I like to think of nature in a sort of ridiculous Russian-doll structure, ‘bigger stuff eating smaller stuff’ in a continuous loop. Much of my work comes from this fascination with the food chain, Predator and prey.
