I had the opportunity to work alongside designer Jon Gray to create a book cover for Joyce Carol Oates’ short story “Where Are You?”, a piece I found morbidly intriguing. Since the story centres around a home, I designed a dollhouse-inspired cover, drawing heavy influence from La Boca’s film poster for Parasite. While I was pleased with my initial outcome from the workshop, I chose to develop the design further by experimenting with digital colour palettes and creating a realistic final mock-up.
