I am interested in how our history occupies our everyday environment; from how it decorates our homes, to the food we eat. In challenging the ordinary I aim to interrupt the ubiquitous and the mundane. In transforming the iconic imagery of the Glasgow tenement through the medium of Sugar Glass and I aim to highlight the port’s relationship to Empire.

Made from Sugar Glass and salvaged Victorian tenement windows from Pollokshields. This insulation is about considering the remnants of Empire that quietly exist in our homes and everyday lives.
