There are five main characters, and each represents a different category. Rick the Koi represents creativity and spirituality; Nancy the bird represents courage; Betty the Anglerfish represents love; Tony the Octopus represents life-decisions; and Wise the Owl represents wisdom.

Each capsule contains a figurine with a fortune poem that relates to its category. There is a set of characters made with pewter to represent the golden prize, the special one.
