Scottish architecture has always been of interest to me. I love looking up at the buildings around me and seeing what patterns jump out. Our architecture is so diverse that you can see buildings from many different eras all on just one street. And as such, they are an endless source of inspiration.
Boundless Buildings
Using a more focused group of photos from the buildings I see on my commute to university in black and white, i look at them from an abstract and deconstructed perspective. I want to see just how much i can add to my work and still have it resemble a building.
Building Again
Taking photos of the buildings I see on my way to and from my university, and looking at them from an abstract, deconstructed perspective. I wanted to see how simplified I could make my work and still have it resemble a building.
