Zoe Belle Adams
My practice explores complex human experiences through research-led and socially engaged design. I’m particularly interested in creating thoughtful, participatory interventions that encourage reflection, conversation, and awareness around difficult, overlooked, or taboo topics. Through empathy and understanding, I aim to design experiences that feel both meaningful and relatable.
The Screened Curriculum
The Screened Curriculum is a workshop based learning programme designed to help young people critically navigate the overwhelming digital environments they engage with daily.
It aims to move students beyond passive consumption, through a series of interactive activities that mirror real online behaviours. Learners are challenged to question their instinctive responses and apply critical thinking in both their consumption and creation of media.
Ultimately, we seek to empower young people to reclaim control over their attention and actions, equipping them with practical and transferable skills, that extend beyond the classroom into their everyday digital lives.
Story Sessions
Women’s stories shape future care.
Story Sessions is a community-led toolkit and event format that enables women to host and take part in guided health storytelling. Through structured prompts and shared making, participants are given space to process and express their experiences while speaking through them with thosein similar positions..
Stories are recorded with consent and anonymised, forming a collective body of lived knowledge that can be reintroduced into healthcare AI systems to help future services better reflect and respond to women’s real lives.
