Sophie Jasmine Cooke

Sophie Jasmine Cooke (b.2001 Reading) is an artist based in Glasgow. Her practice is primarily painting and drawing intertwined with writing, concerned with the physical and emotional experience of having a ‘female’ body that identifies as being a ‘female’. The work explores sexuality, gender, horniness, pain, coercion and consent, teetering on the line between humour and darkness.
