This project explores the internal sensory experience of the female body through the combination of painting and installation. It constructs a bodily space that exists between physiology, emotion, and psychology. The focus of the work has gradually shifted from a general discussion of the female body toward a more specific investigation of women’s health and internal bodily conditions. It further reflects on hidden vulnerabilities and potential risks within the body.
In the painting process, I attempt to reconstruct a new form of the female body by combining floral elements, organic forms, and internal bodily structures. Flowing, curved, and intersecting lines are used to express internal transformation, growth, and traces of time. Layered and gradually shifting colors create a soft, humid, and sensitive visual atmosphere. The body is no longer presented as an external image to be viewed, but as an internal space carrying emotion, perception, and the changes of life. The lines, forms, and structures within the work continuously move between bodily and botanical imagery, attempting to reveal complex and difficult-to-describe internal sensations.
The installation works extend the visual language of the paintings. Porous materials and soft media are used to construct organic forms and spatial relationships, further emphasizing vulnerability, permeability, and subtle emotional experiences within the body.
