Synthesis – Reveal to Conceal
This project explores the stigma of tattoos on people in professional occupations inspired by a series of photographs by Alan Powdrill. This piece focusses on occupations in the medical field, whether it’s a doctor, dentist, nurse or anything else, tattoos are frowned upon and in some completely banned. Reading articles of patience refusing care from someone with tattoos and my own experience in the working world inspired this. I wanted to reveal what would normally be concealed.

My Nostalgia
This project explores the themes of childhood, particularly my childhood. This project could of went many ways but ended up as a sticker and colouring book, accompanied by a selection of stickers. I used to sit for hours with my colouring pencils scribbling in books like these, sticking all the stickers I owned everywhere. The book is illustrations from old pictures and things I could vividly remember, and the stickers are my own personal illustration style of four categories, toys, food, things and Tv and film.
