William Cook Hotel & Spa
20 credit project

I am an enthusiastic designer based in Glasgow with a strong interest in commercial and residential design. My approach is rooted in creating spaces that enhance users quality of life through thoughtful, sustainable practices.

I focus on adaptive reuse and integrating low-impact, minimally processed materials, prioritising environmental responsibility without compromising aesthetics or function. My design philosophy centres on crafting meaningful, lasting environments that respond to the needs of people and the planet.

My fourth-year project reflected these values, embodying sustainability principles and user-centred design. The project explored innovative ways to repurpose existing structures while incorporating environmentally conscious materials, aiming to create a more thoughtful, enriching space for its users. This project demonstrated my commitment to using design to improve daily life while reducing environmental impact.
