My work centres on 2-D animation as a medium for exploring the poetry of the everyday. I am drawn to the rhythms and routines of daily life, the quiet gestures, the fleeting interactions and the unnoticed moments that make up our lived experience. I believe that the routine of the everyday has intrinsic value as a process of knowing one’s self and I portray this vision using charcoal, paint and pen. I make smaller scale work and project it large so that these routine moments are seen with greater detail.  Through hand-drawn and digital animation, I seek to elevate the ordinary, revealing its emotional depth and subtle beauty. My animations invite viewers to pause, reflect and find meaning in the familiar.
