Douglas Rogerson

(he/him)

Douglas Rogerson grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee USA. He spent many summers in Scotland visiting his gran, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He came over for his MFA after working in the Brooklyn fabrication scene for several years. The culmination of his studies examines how contradiction permeates seemingly definite systems of mathematics, logic, and the self and proposes its embodiment as a way of moving through the world that has disruptive potential.
