A Clearing in the Heath

A Clearing in the Heath

A Clearing in Heath is a translation of the place name ‘Headley’. This work is focused on the location Headley Grange and the surrounding area of Headley, where the great album Led Zeppelin IV was created. I visited the location in a long journey from London and captured the images as well as a series of objects to try and corner the secret powers of this place. Led Zeppelin IV was a formative album for me growing up and I wanted to address its magical qualities and my experience with them, this work is just a beginning in a larger exploration around spirituality that permeates my practice.
