This project is centred around my day-to-day journeys captured through an in-depth range of photography and journaling through colour exploration and key words linked to the photography from this initial stages the project developed through different drawing techniques such as multi medium, digital and collage to create a wide range of work to develop from working within a multimedium bold and graphic method to emulate the surroundings I was capturing.

The project is influenced by the urban surrounds of Glasgow and Paisley looking at all the miniscule details and textures found in within the city and fining a relationship between all of these elements to create and develop work from Aswell as this visual research influence I have found influence through other artists and techniques such as comic book and pop artwork from half tones with bold and graphic style and colour pallets, furthermore I found influence through the Bauhaus movement and similar artist techniques. this project is to design and develop a collection of printed textiles for transportation spaces such airports, buses, trams, trains etc. These designs will be a selection of vibrant and colourful textiles bringing innovation into Transportation Textiles.
