Lochlann Trenholm

As a designer, I have a keen interest in Art and Creative Direction. Supported by a love of publication design and identity, my work reflects a wide range of themes and outcomes. My summative year at The Glasgow School of Art has allowed me to develop my skills in these areas, as well as animation and moving image; allowing me to tackle a wide range of both conceptual and more literal ideas.

Extending Design

Conceptual publication design of my extended essay ‘The Western Sensory Model: an Analysis of Media, Consumption and Nostalgia’.

Morse

Inspired by my Papa Dave, who was a morse code translator in the Royal Signals corps of the British Forces. I wanted to develop a typeface derived from morse code, and the influence of the mono-space type found from my family’s personal archive.
