Middle Ground – Compromises

We force ourselves to make changes and adjustments; however, it is necessary for the relationships, and I think the middle ground in a relationship resonates with many people.

By learning about couples’ relationships from my family and friends, I compared the differences between cultures and generations.
We found balance and solutions through the compromises and sacrifices we made. Though the process is uncomfortable, eventually we create something new together, a new lifestyle, a new pattern. Through exploring different materials and approaches to imply the compromises we made, the process of making compromises, and the result of the compromises.

There are 3 parts of this project. The first part is domestic objects to represent daily situations in the relationship, the second part is the process of making compromises, and the final part is the outcome of the compromises.
