A book based on my dissertation which I wrote about feminism and the various effects capitalism has on it, how it has changed in time and what we can do about it. The dissertation itself is not about design but does touch on how capitalism has dumbed down feminism into pink imagery and then repackaged it and sold it back to us as feminism. As the viewer is taught to visually not question that the “pink book is about feminism”. I wanted the book to play on that irony and in turn make us question it.
