SECTIONS & JUNCTIONS
Through each floor there will underfloor heating, i have chosen to do this as
1. More even & comfortable heat
Unlike radiators that create hot spots, underfloor systems spread warmth across the entire floor. This works through radiant heat transfer, so the heat rises gently and evenly, making the room feel consistently warm.
2. Energy efficiency
Underfloor heating runs at lower temperatures than traditional radiators while delivering the same com- fort. Because of this, it pairs well with efficient systems like heat pumps, potentially lowering energy bills over time.
3. Saves space and improves design
No bulky radiators allows me more freedom for furniture placement and a cleaner look
4. Better air quality
Radiators circulate air and dust when they heat up. Underfloor heating produces less air movement, which can help people sensitive to dust or allergens.
5. Works well with modern flooring
It’s particularly effective with tile, wood or stone floors
6. Low maintenance and long lifespan
Once installed systems tend to be reliable and require minimal upkeep.
New section of spa, from east side.
This section is to clarify the floor levels of the extra building. As this building is actually located lower than main building i have proposed to have this entrance be more levelled with main site as this would be more suitable to have a swimming pool located.
To also include another level within the space i have proposed to have a higher and slanted roof to allow this floor to work efficiently. As well as introducing more roof windows to allow flow of natural light into space and by having a slanted roof it still allows privacy into space for guests
